It has exploded onto the scene out of no where... Muttr allows the user to speak freely and say whatever is on their mind, anonymously, and it feels great doing so! Muttr is straight to the point, simple, eye pleasing, and extremely easy to use. It will remain my choice for quite some time now! But escapism is a dangerous mantra as reality has a funny way of catching up with you (see: the morning after your tequila shots). The Sex & The City women's empowerment movement has also, perhaps marginally, contributed to this phenomenon. Whether it is positive or negative is perhaps yet to be determined. I am not sure I agree that people are wallowing in self pity on this. Its more of a "well I guess some people have bigger problems than me" deal. I read it out of pure enjoyment and find it a nice little distraction. It is however and interesting phenomenon that seems to have garnered serious web traffic almost overnight. fmylife is a new addition to my life but one of the many websites I checked as soon as open my internet browser. Texting is distrating but I dont think its really rude necessarily, there should be a book about text etiquitte!
